Measures reported by CogSystemTest

The System Service is used to obtain application-wide, IBM® Cognos® Analytics configuration parameters. This service also provides methods that can be used to normalize and validate locale strings, as well as to map locale strings to locales supported by your application. If this service is unavailable or fails to service requests, then, configuration parameters could not be obtained. as well as locale strings could not be validated by the application. This will result in an outdated application. To ensure that the configuration parameters are obtained periodically, it is essential for the administrators to keep a vigil on the System Service. The CogSystemTest helps administrators in this regard!

This test monitors the System Service and reports the current status of the service. This test also throws light on the number of system service requests that were processed and the count of requests that were processed successfully.

Outputs of the test: One set of results for the target IBM Cognos Business Intelligence suite being monitored.
