The FaPortStatesTest reports the current state of the links of the ports available on the Fabric switch. Typically, a port link on a Brocade 48000 switch can be in any of the following states:

Using this test, administrators can accurately determine how many port links are in a particular state of activity.

Current_online	Indicates the total number of ports that are in the online state for the fabric switch that is being monitored	Number
Current_offline	Indicates the total number of ports that are in the offline state for the fabric switch that is being monitored	Number
Current_faulty	Indicates the total number of ports that are in the faulty state for the fabric switch that is being monitored	Number
Current_testing	Indicates the total number of ports that are in the testing state for the fabric switch that is being monitored	Number
Current_unknown	Indicates the total number of ports that are in the unknown state for the fabric switch that is being monitored	Number
New_online	Indicates the number of ports that are in the online state during the last measurement period for the fabric switch that is being monitored	Number
New_offline	Indicates the number of ports that are in the offline state during the last measurement period for the fabric switch that is being monitored	Number
New_faulty	Indicates the number of ports that are in the faulty state during the last measurement period for the fabric switch that is being monitored	Number
