Measures reported by AzrWVDErrorsTest

To ensure the error-free functioning of the AVD service, administrators should swoop down on errors as soon as they occur, quickly determine what type of error it is, and figure out why it occurred, so that they can mitigate the errors before service delivery is impacted. This is where the AzrWVDErrorsTest helps!

This test scans each host pool's diagnostic logs for errors of different types - namely, connection errors, service errors, management errors, and even unknown errors. Every time an error is captured and logged into the diagnostic logs, the test alerts administrators to that error, and points them to the exact host pool where that error occurred. This way, the test turns the administrator's attention to problems with the AVD service. Detailed diagnostics reported by the test reveal what the error is, when it occurred, which user caused it, and what is its source. With the help of these diagnostics, administrators can quickly and effectively troubleshoot the error.

Outputs of the test :One set of results for each AVD host pool managed by the target AVD broker, in each resource group of the configured subscription

The measures made by this test are as follows:

Measurement Description Measurement Unit Interpretation
Connection_errors Indicates the number of connection errors encountered by this host pool. Number Ideally, the value of this measure should be 0. If a non-zero value is reported, then, use the detailed diagnosis of this measure to know what the error is, when it occurred, who caused it, what type of error it is, and what is its source. This information will help you troubleshoot the errors easily.
Feed_errors Indicates the number of feed errors encountered by this host pool. Number Ideally, the value of this measure should be 0. If a non-zero value is reported, then, use the detailed diagnosis of this measure to know what the error is, when it occurred, who caused it, what type of error it is, and what is its source. This information will help you troubleshoot the errors easily.
Management_errors Indicates the total number of management errors that occurred on this host pool during the last measurement period. Number Ideally, the value of this measure should be 0. If a non-zero value is reported, then, use the detailed diagnosis of this measure to know what the error is, when it occurred, who caused it, what type of error it is, and what is its source. This information will help you troubleshoot the errors easily.
Unknown_errors Indicates the total number of 'unknown' errors that occurred on this host pool during the last measurement period. Number Ideally, the value of this measure should be 0. If a non-zero value is reported, then, use the detailed diagnosis of this measure to know what the error is, when it occurred, who caused it, what type of error it is, and what is its source. This information will help you troubleshoot the errors easily.
Service_error Indicates the total number of service errors that occurred on this host pool during the last measurement period. Number Ideally, the value of this measure should be 0. If a non-zero value is reported, then, use the detailed diagnosis of this measure to know what the error is, when it occurred, who caused it, what type of error it is, and what is its source. This information will help you troubleshoot the errors easily.
