Quick Insight Design View
This page helps users to design a custom view by configuring the tiers, servers, and measures that form part of it. Typically, the page will appear when the 
icon against a view name in the QUICK INSIGHT VIEWS page is clicked. Also, whenever the design or the layout of a custom view is updated, this page will appear reflecting the changes.
icon against it. The Tier Name text box will then appear where you will be allowed to enter the name of the tier. Clicking the Update button will register the changes. Once the Update button is clicked, the name of the new tier will be visible in this page. To modify the name of the tier, you need to follow the same procedure mentioned above. The Delete button will appear only when the name of the tier is clicked. Note that the Delete button will not appear when you are providing the name of the tier for the first time.
To add a new server to the newly added tier, click on the Add server or the icon against the Add Server option. The ADD SERVER pop up window will then appear where you can provide the details of the server to be added. To know how to add the server, click here. The added server will then appear in this page. To modify the server details, click on the name of the server. The ADD SERVER page will then appear where you can change the server details. To save users the trouble of adding the servers individually, this page houses the icon, using which all the servers that need to be added to a tier can be added at a single shot.
To associate a measure with the server, click the Add Metric link available in this page. The CONFIGURE METRIC pop up window will then appear where you will be allowed to add the measure of your choice. To know how to configure the measure, click here. Once the measure is added, it will appear in this page.To modify the measure, simplyy click oon the measure, the CONFIGURE METRIC pop up window will then apppear using which you can modify the test and measure combination. When at least one measure is added to a server under a tier, a icon appears against the server name. Clciking this icon will reveal the CONFIGURE METRICS - <SERVER NAME> pop up window, where the server name is the name of the server specified by the user. Using this pop up window, you can associate the measure that you have added to other servers in the tier in a single shot. To know more on how to configure the measure to multiple servers, click here.
