Measures reported by IBPmaExtPortTest

This test auto-discovers the PMA extended ports and reports how well each port handles the data traffic. By continuously monitoring the PMA extended ports, administrators can also track the packet traffic through each PMA extended port and quickly identify the port that is handling the maximum amount of traffic in terms of multicast packets, unicast packets etc.

Outputs of the test : One set of results for each PMA extended port on the InfiniBand Switch to be monitored.

The measures made by this test are as follows:

ibPmaPortXmitData Indicates the rate at which the data was transmitted by this port during the last measurement period. MB/sec Compare the value of these measures across all PMA Extended ports to determine which port is handling the maximum data traffic.
ibPmaPortRcvData Indicates the rate at which the data was received by this port during the last measurement period. MB/sec Compare the value of these measures across all PMA Extended ports to determine which port is handling the maximum data traffic.
ibPmaPortXmitPkts Indicates the rate at which the packets were transmitted by this port during the last measurement period. Packets/sec Compare the value of these measures across all PMA Extended ports to determine which port is handling the maximum packet traffic.
ibPmaPortRcvPkts Indicates the rate at which the packets were received by this port during the last measurement period. Packets/sec Compare the value of these measures across all PMA Extended ports to determine which port is handling the maximum packet traffic.
ibPmaPortUnicastXmitPkts Indicates the rate at which the unicast packets were transmitted by this port during the last measurement period. Packets/sec  
ibPmaPortUnicastRcvPkts Indicates the rate at which the unicast packets were received by this port during the last measurement period. Packets/sec
