Measures reported by CtxDisconnectsTest
A user session is terminated when a user logs off from the Citrix/Terminal
server
or when the session is abruptly interrupted (e.g., due to server, network,
or application
errors). When a user logs off, all the applications started by the user are
terminated.
However, when a user disconnects, the applications started by the user will
keep
running on the server consuming resources. Hence, the number of disconnected
sessions
on a Citrix/Terminal server should be kept to a minimum. Abrupt disconnects
can
significantly impact the end user experience, and hence, it is important to
monitor
the number of disconnected sessions at any point of time.
