Measures reported by AsAbapGatewayStTest

SAP Gateway, an integral part of SAP NetWeaver, lets you connect devices, environments, and platforms to SAP systems. It uses the Open Data Protocol (OData) so you can use any programming language or model to connect to SAP and non-SAP applications. SAP S/4HANA uses SAP Gateway and OData services to bring business data to compelling SAP Fiori apps. If the SAP Gateway could not be connected or is in an inactive state, then the SAP systems could not be connected. Due to this, user experience will suffer. To avoid such poor user experience and to let users stay connected to the SAP applications at all times, it is essential to keep a vigil on the active status of the SAP Gateway test. The AsAbapGatewayStTest test helps administrators in this regard!

Using this test, administrators can determine whether/not the SAP Gateway is active. This will proactively help administrators identify issues with the SAP Gateway and rectify the same before users start complaining. The users in turn will have a satisfied user experience due to the reduced downtime of the SAP Gateway and SAP applications.

Outputs of the test : One set of results for the target SAP ABAP System being monitored.
