Measures reported by UpsDigitOutputTest
For each digital output sequence on the target UPS, this test reports the current status of the digital output sequence. Using this test, administrators can also determine whether/not the digital output sequence was used as a normally closed contact. This way, administrators can determine the digital output sequences that were in Off state for a prolonged period of time.
Outputs of the test : One set of results for each digital output sequence of the target UPS being monitored.
The measures made by this test are as follows:
| Measurement |
Description |
Measurement Unit |
Interpretation |
| status |
Indicates the current status of this digital output sequence. |
|
The values reported by this measure and its numeric equivalents are mentioned in the table below:
| Measure Value |
Numeric Value |
| Off |
0 |
| On |
1 |
Note:
By default, this measure reports the Measure Values listed in the table above to indicate the current state of each digital output sequence. The graph of this measure however, is represented using the numeric equivalents only i.e., 0 or 1.
|
| isNCContact |
Indicates whether/not this digital output sequence was used as a normally closed contact. |
|
A normally closed (NC) contact pair is closed (in a conductive state) when it, or the device operating it, is in a de-energized state or relaxed state.
The values reported by this measure and its numeric equivalents are mentioned in the table below:
| Measure Value |
Numeric Value |
| No |
0 |
| Yes |
1 |
Note:
By default, this measure reports the Measure Values listed in the table above to indicate whether/not this digital output sequence was used as a normally closed contact. The graph of this measure however, is represented using the numeric equivalents only i.e., 0 or 1.
