Measures reported by CtxNsSvcGroupTest

A service group is a representation of one/more services.

This test reports the current state of the virtual server for each service group.

The measures made by this test are as follows:

Measurement Description Measurement Unit Interpretation
Server_state Indicates the current state of the virtual server bound to this service group in the NetScaler device.   The values that this measure can report and their numeric equivalents are listed in the table below:

Numeric Value Measure Value
Enabled 0
Disabled 1

Note:

By default, this measure reports the above-mentioned Measure Values to indicate the state of the virtual server. However, the graph of this measure will be represented using the corresponding numeric equivalents i.e., 0 or 1. The Detailed Diagnosis of this measure shows the Service, Service Group, Primary IP address and the Primary Port of the virtual server.

Effective_state Indicates the current effective state of the virtual server bound to this service group in the NetScaler device.   The values that this measure can report and their numeric equivalents are listed in the table below:

Numeric Value Measure Value
Up 100
Partial Up 75
Out-of-service 50
Partial-down 25
Down 10

Note:

By default, this measure reports the above-mentioned Measure Values to indicate the effective state of the virtual server. However, in the graph of this measure the effective state will be represented using the corresponding numeric equivalents only.
