This test auto-discovers the power supply units in the storage device, and reports the current state of each unit and the operating state of the fan in each unit.

The measures made by this test are as follows:

Measurement Description Measurement Unit Interpretation
Current_status Indicates the current stste of this power supply unit in this storage device.   This measure reports the status of the power supply unit as follows:
  • On
  • No Ac Power
  • Failed
  • No Data

The numeric values that correspond to the above-mentioned states are as follows:

Note:

By default, this measure reports the above-mentioned states while indicating the status of the power supply unit. However, the graph of this measure will be represented using the corresponding numeric equivalents of the states as mentioned in the table above.
Fan_status Indicates the operating status of the fan that is available in the power supply unit.   This measure reports the current operational state of the fan in this power supply unit as follows:
  • Not Applicable
  • Fan is Operational
  • Fan is not Operational

The numeric values that correspond to the above-mentioned states are as follows:
