An Active Directory is a Microsoft directory service that stores information about the network operating system and provides services. Active Directory configures and manages users and groups and enables administrators to set security policies, control resources, and deploy programs across an enterprise.

This test reports the status of the active directory connection.

 The measures made by this test are as follows:

activeDirCon Indicates whether the active directory is available or not.   This measure reports either Ok or Not available as the status of the active directory connection. The numeric values that correspond to the above-mentioned states are as follows:

Note:

By default, this measure reports the above-mentioned states while indicating the status of the active directory connection. However, the graph of this measure will be represented using the corresponding numeric equivalents of the states as mentioned in the table above.
