INVENTORY BY COMPONENT TYPE

This page can be accessed by the following menu sequence, Inventory->View->By Type field.

To view the distribution of systems of a specific component type across each available operating systems, do the following:

• Select a component type from the Component Type list box. If multiple component types are available, then ALL option will be selected by default from this list box.
• Then click the SUBMIT button.
• Doing so, will provide a table containing the entire list of systems on each OS, with respect to the chosen component type.
• Clicking on individual system, will take you to the INVENTORY BY SYSTEM page, that provides the basic configuration and the components managed on the chosen system.
• Selecting ALL option from the Component Type list box, will provide a graphical representation illustrating the distribution of the selected component type across different operating system.

Note:

A graphical representation will be provided, only if ALL option is selected from the Component Type list box.
