Configuration of FCCluSerAppTest For each service/application that has been configured for high-availability, this test reports the current state of that service/application, thus enabling administrators to figure out if fail-over was successful or not. The test additionally reports the IP state and server state of each service/application and tracks the space usage in the storage mapped to a service/application, thus pointing administrators to the probable cause for service failures. The resources added to every service/application and the current state of the resources is also revealed, so that administrators can determine whether/not the offline state of a resource is causing the dependent service/application to fail. The default parameters associated with this test are:
When changing the configuration for specific servers, a “*” beside the text box corresponding to the parameter signifies that these values have to be manually configured by the user. The parameter values that require to be configured will typically be prefixed with a “$” or contain a series of “*”. A value of "none" in the parameter value indicates that the corresponding parameter value can be changed if required.
