This page can be accessed in two ways:

(a) By clicking on the Click here hyperlink in the AGENT - SPECIFIC THRESHOLDS page, or,

(b) By following the menu sequence: Alerts -> Thresholds -> Group Thresholds

If you enter this page via mode (a), then the following options will be available to you:

• Add/Modify threshold component groups: Click on the Threshold Component Gruops button against this option to view/modify/delete the server groups of only that component-type which was earlier chosen from the AGENTS - THRESHOLD CONFIGURATION page. Similarly, by default, clicking on the Threshold Component Groups button and then the Add Threshold Component Group button in the resulting page, will allow you to create a new threshold component group for the component-type that is chosen from the AGENTS - THRESHOLD CONFIGURATION page. However, you can override this default setting, by selecting a different Component type from the CONFIGURE THRESHOLD COMPONENT GROUP page that appears.

• Add/Modify threshold rules: Click on the Threshold rules button against this option to view/modify/delete threshold rules for only that test which was earlier chosen from the AGENTS - THRESHOLD CONFIGURATION page. Similarly, by default, clicking on the Threshold rules button and then the Add Threshold Rules button in the resulting page, will allow you to create a new threshold rule for only that component type-test pair which is chosen from the AGENTS - THRESHOLD CONFIGURATION page. However, you can override this default setting, by selecting a different Component type and Test while configuring a new threshold rule.

• Associate threshold rules to threshold component groups: Click on the Associate button against this option to associate a threshold rule configured for a test chosen from the AGENTS - THRESHOLD CONFIGURATION page with a threshold component group defined for the component-type chosen from the AGENTS - THRESHOLD CONFIGURATION page.

If you enter this page via mode (b), then the following options will be available to you:

• Add/Modify threshold component groups: Click on the Threshold Component Groups button here, to view, add, modify, or delete any threshold component group registered with the eG Enterprise system, regardless of component-type.

• Add/Modify threshold rules: Clicking on the Threshold rules button here will allow you to view, add, modify, or delete any threshold rule registered with the eG Enterprise system, regardless of test and component-type.

• Associate threshold rules to threshold component groups: Clicking on the Associate button here will allow you to associate any threshold rule with any threshold component group.
