Default Parameters for IBMDb2DirectIOTest

The IBMDb2DirectIOTest, executed by an internal agent, tracks various statistics pertaining to the inputs and outputs of a DB2 database. This page depicts the default parameters that need to be configured for the IBMDb2DirectIOTest.

  • The TEST PERIOD list box helps the user to decide how often this test needs to be executed. 

  • In the USER text box, specify the name of the user who has any of the following privileges to the specified DATABASE: SYSADM or SYSCTRL or SYSMAINT or SYSMON.

  • Enter the password of the specified USER in the PASSWORD text box.

  • Retype the password in the CONFIRM PASSWORD text box.

  • In the DATABASE text box, specify the name of the database on the monitored DB2 server to be used by this test.

  • Once the above value is provided, click on the Update button to register the changes made.
