This page appears when you click on the Unmanage button or on the Add/Manage button in the MANAGE/UNMANAGE SYSTEMS page.

If you have reached this page by clicking on the Unmanage button in the MANAGE/UNMANAGE SYSTEMS page, then follow the steps below:

• This page displays all the components that use the same host/nick name as the one selected from the MANAGE/UNMANAGE SYSTEMS page. Similarly, if there are other managed components on the same IP address that corresponds to the chosen host/nick name, then such components will also be listed in this page. To unmanage all listed components, ensure that all check boxes in this page are selected, and then, click the Unmanage button.

• If only a few components are to be unmanaged, select the corresponding check boxes alone, and then click the Unmanage button.

If you have reached this page by clicking on the Add/Manage button in the MANAGE/UNMANAGE SYSTEMS page, then follow the steps below:

• If there are other discovered/unmanaged components that share the host/nick names chosen from the MANAGE/UNMANAGE SYSTEMS page, then the component-types of all such components will be listed in this page. To manage a discovered component, select its corresponding component-type from this page, and then click the Add button therein. Note that this page allows you to choose only one component-type at a time for addition. This will lead you to the NEW COMPONENT DETAILS page, where you will find that the host/nick name chosen in the MANAGE/UNMANAGE SYSTEMS has been automatically assigned to the new component. To proceed with the component addition, provide the other details (if any) that are requested by the NEW COMPONENT DETAILS page, and finally click the Add button in that page.

• If you want to use the chosen nick name for a component that does not belong to any of the discovered component-types, then click the Add Other button in this page without selecting any of the listed component-types. This will once again lead you to the NEW COMPONENT DETAILS page, where you will find that the host/nick name chosen in the MANAGE/UNMANAGE SYSTEMS has been automatically assigned to the new component.To proceed with the component addition, first select a Component type, then provide the other details (if any) that are requested by the NEW COMPONENT DETAILS page, and finally click the Add button in that page.

• On the other hand, if none of the discovered/unmanaged components use any of the chosen host/nick names, then a message to that effect will appear in this page. You can, if you so desire, assign the chosen nick name to a new component by clicking on the Add New button in this page. This will once again lead you to the NEW COMPONENT DETAILS page, where you will find that the chosen host/ nick name has automatically been assigned to the component being added. To proceed with the component addition, first select a Component type, then provide the other details (if any) that are requested by the NEW COMPONENT DETAILS page, and finally click the Add button in that page.
