Configuration of CtxGwUptimeTest In most production environments, it is essential to monitor the uptime of critical servers/devices in the infrastructure. By tracking the uptime of each of the servers/device, administrators can determine what percentage of time a server/device has been up. Comparing this value with service level targets, administrators can determine the most trouble-prone areas of the infrastructure. In some environments, administrators may schedule periodic reboots of their servers/devices. By knowing that a specific server/device has been up for an unusually long time, an administrator may come to know that the scheduled reboot task is not working on a server/device. The CtxGwUptimeTest included in the eG agent monitors the uptime of the target Citrix Cloud Gateway Connector. The default parameters associated with this test are:
When changing the configuration for specific servers, a “*” beside the text box corresponding to the parameter signifies that these values have to be manually configured by the user. The parameter values that require to be configured will typically be prefixed with a “$” or contain a series of “*”. A value of “none” in the parameter value indicates that the corresponding parameter value can be changed if required. |
