Managing a Component Type in an Agentless manner (from Overview page)

This page appears when you click on the component type that is displayed in the Monitor <Target> Infrastructure page.

Using this page, you can manage/add a component of a type in an agentless manner for monitoring. By default, the remote agent that you have chosen from the Monitor <Target> Infrastructure page will be automatically assigned to the new component.

Moreover, once you configure the parameters listed in this page and click the Update button, you not only add the component, but also automatically configure all or at least a majority of the tests mapped to that component. This way, with a few mouse clicks, you can make a component monitoring-ready using the Overview page!
