Default License Settings

This page appears when you click the Default Settings button in the LICENSE LIMIT page.

eG Enterprise automatically assigns a license to every tenant Organization and Organizational Unit registered with the eG manager. The details of this default license settings are specified in the License Settings section as follows:

Licensed Item License Count Remarks
Total Monitors 10

Consumed every time a system/application is managed by the tenant.

Typically, this is the sum of Basic and Premium Monitors.

Network Devices 10 Consumed every time a network device is managed by the tenant
Concurrent Users 100 Is applicable only if Citrix/VDI components are monitored in a tenant environment.
Monitor Users 3

Consumed every time a new user is created by a tenant in eG Enterprise

At the tenant Organization level, every Organizational Unit and User created within that Organization will be counted as a Monitor User.

At the Organizational Unit level, every User created within that unit will be counted as a Monitor User.

Endpoints 100 Is applicable only if IGEL Endpoints components are monitored in a tenant environment.
O365 Users 100 Is applicable only if Microsoft Office 365 components are monitored in a tenant environment.

In a SaaS deployment, if a user is allowed to self-register (i.e., if the Allow users to self-register flag is set to Yes in the MANAGER MODEL page, then, by default, the Subscription period for the self-registered users will be set to 21 day(s) in the Subscription Period section. If you wish to change the default subscription period of the self-registered users, then, you can do so by providing the number of days of your choice against the Subscription period for the self-registered users field. Note that you can specify upto a maximum of 365 days against the Subscription period for the self-registered users field.

By default, a user of a tenant Organization / Organizational Unit are allowed to download the eG agent any number of times directly from the eG admin console. However, if a user attempts to download the eG agent using the eG CLI command (one liner) generated in the Download Agents page, he/she is restricted to a maximum of 5 times per hour. To this effect,the Agent download limit for users text box in the Agent Download Limit section is set to 5 per hour.
