Measures reported by ODBFileUsageTest OneDrive for business is an intelligent files app for connecting you to all files so you can share and work together with your co-workers from anywhere while protecting your work. OneDrive for Business lets you easily store, access, and discover your individual and shared work files in Microsoft 365, including Microsoft Teams, from multiple devices. Your offline changes will automatically sync next time you connect. If these files are allowed to grow uncontrollably, then at some point in time, OneDrive for Business will have no storage space for new files. Such an eventuality, may not only impact the productivity but may hit the very purpose of OneDrive. To avoid this, administrators should closely monitor the files growth in the OneDrive, proactively detect alarming growth patterns, and promptly take action to curb the growth, so as to conserve storage space. The OneDrive Files test can help you in this regard! Note: This test uses the Microsoft Graph API. Tests that use Microsoft Graph API may not start reporting metrics right away. Sometimes, they may go without reporting metrics for over 48 hours. This is normal behavior, and it occurs because, Microsoft does not collect/refresh the metrics as frequently as the test executes. Periodically, this test reports the current load in terms of the count and percentage of active files. In the process, the test proactively alerts administrators to the rate at which the files are growing in the OneDrive for Business, thereby enabling them to investigate and resolve the abnormal file growth before users complain of inadequate storage. Outputs of the test: One set of results for the monitored Microsoft OneDrive For Business. The measures made by this test are as follows:
