Measures reported by HanaEventTest

In SAP HANA Database server, the most serious system events are logged as internal database events in the table M_EVENTS. They are initially logged with a status of ‘NEW’ and, once the issue has been resolved, the event must be set to ‘HANDLED’ to be able to continue. Hence, it is very important to keep an eye on the number of events created and if those events are timely acknowledged and marked handled in order to avoid performance issues. HANA Events Test helps administrators in this regard!

This test reports the number of internal events generated by the target database server with status New, Updated, and Handled and also reports the number of events for which the handle attempt failed.

Outputs of the test: One set of results for the target database server instance being monitored.
