Measures reported by RadADSerNwStTest

This test tracks the TCP connections in a server and reports the count of new connections that were processed successfully, the number of packets received/ transmitted, and the amount of data transferred successfully, thereby revealing error responses to administrators and their probable causes.

Outputs of the test: One set of results for the target Appdirector Farm configured on the Radware Appdirector that is to be monitored.

Descriptor: AppDirector Farm

The measures made by this test are as follows:

Measurement Description Measurement Unit Interpretation
totTCPNewCon Indicates the new TCP connections to this AppDirector farm during the last measurement period. Number

totTCPDisCon Indicates the number of TCP connections that were disconnected from this AppDirector farm during the last measurement period. Number

pktsRecvd Indicates the number of packets received by this AppDirector farm per second during the last measurement period. Packets/sec

Compare the value of this measure across the AppDirector farms to figure out the AppDirector farm that received the maximum number of packets.

pktsTrans Indicates the number of packets that were transmitted by this AppDirector farm per second during the last measurement period. Packets/sec

Compare the value of this measure across the AppDirector farms to figure out the AppDirector farm that had transmitted the maximum number of packets.

dataRecvd Indicates the rate at which data were received by this Appdirector farm during the last measurement period. MB/sec

Compare the value of this measure across the AppDirector farms to figure out the AppDirector farm that received maximum data.

dataTrans Indicates the rate at which data were transmitted by this Appdirector farm during the last measurement period. MB/sec

Compare the value of this measure across the AppDirector farms to figure out the AppDirector farm that had transmitted maximum data.
