Measures reported by ExGdLandSpTest ExaGrid's appliance allows each full backup to first land on the disk landing zone before deduplication i.e., the system maintains the most recent backup in its full, undeduplicated form for fast restores, Instant VM recoveries in seconds to minutes, and fast offsite tape copies. The backup data is written directly from the backup server to ExaGrid's disk landing zone at the highest possible rate with no inline processing to interfere, resulting in the shortest possible backup window. If the space in the disk landing zone is insufficient to hold a backup in full, then, the whole purpose of backups and restores will not be served in critical infrastructures. In order to maintain a healthy backup in the disk landing zone, it is essential for the administrators to periodically monitor the space usage of the disk landing zone. The ExGdLandSpTest helps administrators in this regard! This test reports the space utilization of the disk landing zone in the target ExaGrid Backup server. Using this test, administrators can figure out abnormal space usage patterns and proactively add additional space to the disk landing zone before backups to the disk landing zone fail. Outputs of the test : One set of results for the target ExaGrid Backup Server being monitored. The measures made by this test are as follows:
