A sudden/gradual increase in the temperature of the target switch may cause serious damage to the hardware components of the switch. This is why, administrators should continuously monitor the temperature of the switch. The FastIronTempTest test helps administrators in this regard! This test monitors the temperature of the switch and alerts if any abnormalities are detected.
