Measures reported by WifiAvailTest

This test auto-discovers the Wifi networks that are connected to the target Windows server and reports availability and signal strength of each Wifi network. This way, administrators can identify how strong the Wifi network is connected to the target Windows server and can take actions swiftly before a user complains of unavailability of Wifi network, receiving weak Wifi signals and poor connection quality.

Outputs of the test : One set of results for each Wifi network connected to the target Microsoft Windows server being monitored.

The measures made by this test are as follows:

Measurement Description Measurement Unit Interpretation
Availability Indicates whether/not this Wifi network is available. Percent A value of 100 indicates that this Wifi network is available. The value 0 indicates that the Wifi network is not available. Use the detailed diagnosis of this measure to know the details of the Wifi network such as the physical address, Radio type, Description, Authentication, etc.
Signal Indicates the percentage of signal strength of this Wifi network. Percent Ideally, a high value is desired for this measure.
