Measures reported by XIOXBricksTest
The XtremIO Storage array is a scale-out architecture, which is built using fundamental building blocks called X-Bricks. Each X-Brick is comprised of:
One 2U Disk Array Enclosure (DAE), containing:
25 eMLC SSDs (standard X-Brick) or 13 eMLC SSDs (10TB Starter X-Brick [5TB])
Two redundant power supply units (PSUs)
Two redundant SAS interconnect modules
One Battery Backup Unit
Two 1U Storage Controllers (redundant storage processors) which includes,
Two redundant power supply units (PSUs)
Two 8Gb/s Fiber Channel (FC) ports
Two 10GbE iSCSI ports
Two 40Gb/s InfiniBand ports
One 1Gb/s management/IPMI port
This test monitors the current state of each X-Brick and also reports the number of SSDs and BBUs available in each X-Brick.
Outputs of the test : One set of results for each X-Brick of the target EMC XtremIO being monitored
The measures made by this test are as follows:
| Measurement |
Description |

Interpretation |
| xBrickState |
Indicates the current state of this X-Brick. |

Note:
This measure reports the Measure Values listed in the table above to indicate the state of this X-Brick. However, in the graph, this measure is indicated using the Numeric Values listed in the above table. |
| noOfSSDs |
Indicates the total number of SSDs available in this X-Brick. |
Number |
|
| noOfBBUs |
Indicates the number of BBUs in this X-Brick. |
Number |
If the value of this measure is 1 then this X-Brick is a stand-alone X-Brick. If the value of this measure is 2 then this X-Brick is a single X-Brick cluster. |
