Measures reported by CtxNsCmpTest

To know how well the HTTP and TCP requests were compressed by the Netscaler device, use the CtxNsCmpTest test.

The measures made by this test are as follows:

Measurement Description Measurement Unit Interpretation
Http_compression_req Indicates the number of HTTP compression requests the NetScaler receives for which the response is successfully compressed during the last measurement period. Number
Http_com_data_received Indicates the amount of data compressed by the Netscaler device upon reception of HTTP requests during the last measurement period. MB
Http_com_data_transmit Indicates the amount of data sent by the Netscaler device to the client after compressing the HTTP requests during the last measurement period. MB
Http_com_packet_received Indicates the number of HTTP packets that were compressed by the Netscaler device during the last measurement period. Number
Http_com_packet_transmit Indicates the number of HTTP packets that were transmitted by the Netscaler device to the client during the last measurement period. Number
Http_bandwidth_save Indicates the percentage of bandwidth saved by compressing the HTTP requests. Percent
Http_com_ratio Indicates the ratio of data compressed upon reception of HTTP requests to the ratio of compressed data transmitted to the client during the last measurement period. Percent
Total_http_com_ratio Indicates the ratio of total data compressed upon reception of HTTP requests to the ratio of the total compressed data transmitted to the client during the last measurement period. Percent
Tcp_com_data_received Indicates the amount of data compressed by the Netscaler device upon reception of TCP requests during the last measurement period. MB
