Measures reported by evrPVMHostLATest

This test monitors the Link Adapters in a redundant setup and reports the current path (for e.g., primary or secondary) through which each link adapter is connected to the host and the current speed measured at the path of each link adapter. This test reports the current state of each link adapter and the severity of each link adapter' state reported by this test.

The measures made by this test are as follows:

Measurement Description Measurement Unit Interpretation
Adapater_Path1_Usage Indicates the current path through which the Link Adapter 1 is connected to this host.   This measure takes one among the following values as provided in the table below:

Note:

By default, this measure reports the above-mentioned Measure Values while indicating the current path through which the Link Adapter 1 is connected to this host. However, the graph of this measure will be represented using the corresponding numeric equivalents i.e., 1 to 4.
Adapater_Path2_Usage Indicates the current path through which the Link Adapter 2 is connected to this host.   This measure takes one among the following values as provided in the table below:

Note:

By default, this measure reports the above-mentioned Measure Values while indicating the current path through which the Link Adapter 2 is connected to this host. However, the graph of this measure will be represented using the corresponding numeric equivalents mentioned in the table above.
Adapater_Path1_Speed Indicates the current speed measured at the path of the Link Adapter 1. Mbps The value of these measures should ideally be within the normal limits.
Adapater_Path2_Speed Indicates the current speed measured at the path of the Link Adapter 2. Mbps
Adapater_State Indicates the current state of this link adapter.   This measure takes one among the following values as provided in the table below:

Adapater_Severity Indicates the severity of the state of this link adapter.   This measure takes one among the following values as provided in the table below:
