Measures reported by OraExpDateTest

A user account in Oracle expires when the PASSWORD_LIFE_TIME configured for that user is reached. Upon expiry, Oracle automatically locks the user account, preventing that user from logging in. To avoid this, users need to be proactively alerted to the impending expiry of their accounts, thereby giving them time to reset the PASSWORD_LIFE_TIME configuration, if required. The Users Expiry Date Details test does just that.

This test not only reports the number of expired users on an Oracle database server, but also reports the number of user accounts that are nearing expiry.

The measures made by this test are as follows:

Nearing_Expiry Indicates the number of users who will be expiring within the configured NO OF DAYS. Number Use the detailed diagnosis of this measure to know the number of users who are about to expire.
