Measures reported by EqlGroupSnapTest A snapshot represents a frozen image of a volume. The source of a snapshot is called an "original." When a snapshot is created, it looks exactly like the original at that point in time. As changes are made to the original, the snapshot remains the same and looks exactly like the original at the time the snapshot was created. Snapshots allow administrators to perform online backups and can be scheduled at regular time intervals. If data loss occurs, archived information can be rapidly retrieved to restore data and return to normal operations. This test monitors how snapshots in the PS Series group are used. The measures made by this test are as follows:
