Measures reported by EqlFanStatusTest

This test reports the speed of each fan and status of each fan sensor in this storage device.

The measures made by this test are as follows:

Measurement Description Measurement Unit Interpretation
Speed Indicates the current speed of this fan. Rpm Abnormally high and low values for this measure are a cause for concern.
Current_state Indicates the current state of this fan.   This measure reports the status of this fan as follows:
  • Unknown
  • Normal
  • Warning
  • Critical

The numeric values that correspond to the above-mentioned states are as follows:

Note:

By default, this measure reports the above-mentioned states while indicating the status of the fan. However, the graph of this measure will be represented using the corresponding numeric equivalents of the states as mentioned in the table above.
