INTEGRATION CONSOLE - COMPONENT

This page appears when you click on the Component option from the Integration Console tile that appears when you click on the icon available in the Admin tab.

• By default, this page consists of two panels: one is the Pre-defined components panel, which lists all component-types that are supported out-of-the-box by eG Enterprise, and the other is the User defined components panel, which lists all custom defined component-types (if any), added using the Integration Console.

• To add a new component type, click the Add New Component Type button available in the top right corner of the User-defined components panel.

• To associate/disassociate one / more layers from the component type, click the icon available against that component type.

• To associate/disassociate one / more performance tests for the chosen component type, click the icon available against that component type.

• To associate/disassociate one / more configuration tests for the chosen component type, click the icon available against that component type.

• You can modify the details of the new component-type that is listed under the User defined components panel, if you so need, by clicking the button corresponding to it.

• You can delete a new component-type that is listed under the User defined components panel, by clicking the button corresponding to it.

• Since eG Enterprise monitors a vast range of applications/servers, locating a component-type in the Pre-defined components panel could pose a challenge. Similar challenge would be faced by the users if multiple new component-types are listed under the User defined components list. To allow you to quickly search for a component-type, a Search text box has been included where you can specify the whole/part of the component-type. The results of your search will be displayed as and when you type the search string in the Search text box.

  Note:

  Pre-defined components can neither be modified nor deleted.
