Default Parameters for ADAddBookDetTest Using this test, you can determine the number of Address Book clients currently connected to the AD database and the rate at which search operations are performed by each AD server. In the event that the AD database gets inundated with search queries, you can use this test to figure out whether or not the Address Book clients are contributing to the query load. This test applies only to Active Directory Servers installed on Windows 2008. This page depicts the default parameters that need to be configured for the ADAddBookDetTest.
When changing default configurations of tests, the values with “$” indicate variables that will be replaced by the eG system according to the specific server being managed - for instance, $hostName is the host/nickname of the target host, $port is the port number of the server being monitored. E.g., for a server xyz:80, $hostName will be changed automatically by the eG manager to “xyz” and $port will be changed to “80” when configuring a test.
