List of Service Groups

Large organizations may have multiple services grouped under different business units. There may hence be a need to represent groups of services as an entity. To address this requirement, eG Enterprise allows the configuration of service groups in the eG admin interface, and represents the real-time state of the service groups in the eG monitoring interface.

If service groups pre-exist, then this page will display the complete list of service groups. You can modify a service group, by clicking on the Modify () icon corresponding to it. To rename the service group, click on the Rename () icon. Enter the new name in the New Name for the Selected Service Group textbox, and click on the Rename button. To delete multiple service groups, select the check boxes against the service groups, and then click on the Delete Selected () icon. To add a new service group, click on the Add New Service Group button.

If too many service groups are listed here, you can quickly get to the group of interest to you using the Search option provided in this page. Provide the whole/part of the name of a service group in the Search text box and click the right-arrow button next to it to view the services with names that embed the specified Search string.

If no service groups pre-exist, then a message to that effect will appear in this page.
