Configuring logo / messages

This page enables an administrator to customize the eG login interface, the eG monitor interface, and the eG Reporter interface by associating personal logos and messages. The Logo/Messages option in the Configure menu brings the administrator to this page.

If you want to make a custom logo, say, your organization's logo, appear in the eG LOGIN SCREEN, MONITOR INTERFACE, and/or the REPORTER INTERFACE, select the CUSTOM option from the corresponding sections in this page. If you want to proceed with the default image, select the DEFAULT option. Choose the NONE option if no logo is to be displayed in any/all of the above-mentioned interfaces.

Besides, an AUDIBLE ALERTS section is provided, which enables administrators to associate audio files of their choice with alarms. To associate an audio file, choose the Custom option, and then click the Upload Files button, to browse for and upload the required file. Select Default, so that the default audio remains, or the None option if alarms are not to be accompanied by any sound. While performing customizations, ensure that the instructions provided in the respective sections are strictly adhered to.

The MESSAGES section enables the administrator to display customized messages.

  • You can display a custom text during login, by configuring a Caption displayed at login.

  • The Error message displayed upon subscription expiry text box contains the default message that would appear upon expiry of a subscription. The contents of this text box can be changed if required.

  • The Warning message displayed prior to subscription expiry text box contains the warning message that would appear prior to the subscription expiry. As you can see, this message contains a variable [no_of_days]. This variable indicates the number of days left for the subscription to expire and hence should remain unchanged.

  • The Subscription manager's mail ID field indicates the mail ID from which the warning messages prior to the subscription expiry are sent to different users.

The Update button enables the administrator to register the aforesaid details.
