ENABLE / DISABLE TESTS

With the help of this page, you can enable/disable specific tests for a chosen component-type. To access this page, click on the icon available in the Admin tab. Then, select the Enable/Disable option from the Tests sub-menu in the Agents tile.

To enable/disable a test using this page, do the following:

• First, select the Component type with which the test(s) of interest to you is associated.

• Then, pick a Test type - this can either be Performance or Configuration. While a test of type Performance typically reports useful performance statistics pertaining to a component, a test of type Configuration, reports the current configuration of a component and captures configuration changes (if any).

• Once a test type is selected, then all the performance/configuration tests (as the case may be) that have been enabled for the chosen Component type will be listed in the Enabled Tests list. Similarly, all those tests that are currently disabled for the chosen Component type will appear in the Disabled Tests. You can also search the desired test with test name from Enabled Tests and Disabled Tests with search text box associated with the list.

• To enable any of the disabled tests, just pick a test from the Disabled Tests list and click on the < button. This will transfer the selection to the Enabled Tests list.

• If you want to disable any of the tests, just select the tests from the Enabled Tests list, and click the > button in this page. This will transfer the selection to the Enabled Tests list.

• Finally, click the Update button to register the changes.
