When a host name or nick name is specified while adding/modifying a component, the eG manager checks the existing IP address to host name mapping. If the specified host name or nick name does not exist in the existing mapping, this page appears alerting the user to exercise caution during host name specification. The page allows you to choose between assigning the specified host name to the new component alone, and assigning it to all components with the specified IP. Choose the required option and click on the UPDATE button.

If multiple components use the same IP-nickname combination, then when you modify the nickname of one of the components, the change is automatically applied to all the other components. Before applying the change, this page appears requesting your confirmation to proceed. Click on the Do you wish to rename all the components those have old host name? option, and then click the UPDATE button to apply the changes.
