This page appears when the Add New Threshold Component Group button in the Threshold Component Group page is clicked, and facilitates the addition of new groups of components. To create a new group, do the following:

1. To group two/more components of a specific type, first, select a Component type. If you have reached this page while configuring Specific Thresholds for a component-type and test chosen from the Agent Threshold - Configuration page, then the component-type so chosen will be the default selection in the Component type list in this page. You can however, select a different component-type here, if you so wish.

2. Specify the name of the new group in the Component group name text box.

3. The Disassociated Components list box will list all the components of the chosen type that are not part of any existing group. From this list, select the ones that need to be included in the group that is being currently created, and click the Associate () icon in this page.

4. Doing so, will transfer the selection to the Associated Components list. Similarly, to disassociate components from the group, select them from the Associated Components list and click on the Disassociate () icon.

5. Finally, click the Update button.

This page also appears when the Modify () icon against a threshold component group is clicked. In which case, you will be able to modify the component grouping by associating more components with the group, or by disassociating the existing ones.
