Configuration of ARSWMemUsageTest Often, in environments where Arista Switch is deployed, unavailability and poor performance of the switch can adversely impact inter-device communication. If not detected and resolved quickly, such issues can snowball and degrade performance of mission-critical applications in the target environment. This may directly impact the reputation and business revenue of the environment. To avoid such adversities, it is important to monitor the operations of the Arista switch continuously. This test monitors the memory utilization of the Arista Switch and proactively alerts administrators to potential memory contention, if any. The default parameters associated with this test are:
When changing the configuration for specific servers, a “*” beside the text box corresponding to the parameter signifies that these values have to be manually configured by the user. The parameter values that require to be configured will typically be prefixed with a “$” or contain a series of “*”. A value of “none” in the parameter value indicates that the corresponding parameter value can be changed if required. |
