Configuration of EndecaRsrcUsageTest

The resource utilization including memory and disk usage by the Endeca server is crucial for its effective performance. Excessive memory usage can cause significant deterioration in server performance. EndecaRsrcUsageTest reports the memory usage of the Endeca server and the maximum memory that the server is configured to use along with that administrators are notified if the resident set size, disk usage, or throughput violates the acceptable limits.

The default parameters associated with this test are:

  • The TEST PERIOD list box helps the user to decide how often this test needs to be executed.

A value of “none” in the parameter value indicates that the corresponding parameter value can be changed if required.
