Default Parameters for CtxNsContGroupTest With the help of the Content Group test, administrators can monitor how well each content group (default and user-configured) services requests to it. In the process, they can figure out if any content group does not contain enough response objects to service requests effectively. The test also helps administrators zoom into the reasons for the poor usage of a content group - is it because the content group is not sized with enough memory to hold many objects in cache? or is it because the content group is not flushing enough objects from memory? This page depicts the default parameters that need to be configured for the CtxNsContGroupTest test.
When changing default configurations of tests, the values with “$” indicate variables that will be replaced by the eG system according to the specific server being managed - for instance, $hostName is the host/nickname of the target host, $port is the port number of the server being monitored. E.g., for a server xyz:80, $hostName will be changed automatically by the eG manager to “xyz*” and $port will be changed to “80” when configuring a test.
