Configuration of WVDInfoTest Each session host has a Azure Virtual Desktop agent, which registers the VM as part of the Azure Virtual Desktop service framework. The agent acts as the intermediate communicator between the service and the virtual machines, enabling connectivity. If an agent is unable to register with the service, then the corresponding VM will not be able to connect to the service. This is why, it is important that administrators are promptly alerted to issues in agent registration. With the help of the WVDInfoTest test, administrators can receive such important problem notifications promptly! This test periodically checks whether the agent on a chosen session host / AVD is registered with the service; if not, an alert to this effect is sent out to the administrator. The default parameters associated with this test are as follows:
When changing the configuration for specific servers, a “*” beside the text box corresponding to the parameter signifies that these values have to be manually configured by the user. The parameter values that require to be configured will typically be prefixed with a “$” or contain a series of “*”. A value of “none” in the parameter value indicates that the corresponding parameter value can be changed if required. |
