Configuration of LogonSimCheckTest For a logon simulator to perform logon simulation, it is essential for the user to establish a user session by logging into the logon simulation endpoint at all times. Sometimes, the logon simulation endpoint may be down or the user may face connectivity issues to the logon simulation endpoint. During such circumstances, the logon simulator may stop the simulation process. When the simulation stops, administrators should quickly troubleshoot and resolve the issue at the earliest. To aid administrators in this regard, eG Enterprise offers the LogonSimCheckTest. By closely monitoring the logon simulation endpoint, this test reports whether/not the user session on the endpoint is active. The default parameters associated with this test are:
When changing the configuration for specific servers, a “*” beside the text box corresponding to the parameter signifies that these values have to be manually configured by the user. The parameter values that require to be configured will typically be prefixed with a “$” or contain a series of “*”. A value of “none” in the parameter value indicates that the corresponding parameter value can be changed if required. |
