Measures reported by ExtBatteryInfoTest

The ExtBatteryInfoTest monitors the external batteries used by an APC UPS device.

Measurement Description Measurement Unit Interpretation
Battery_capacity The percentage of unused battery capacity Percent Ideally, the value of this measure should be high. A low value is indicative of high battery utilization.

A value of 100 indicates that the battery is charged good.
Battery_temperature The current internal UPS temperature Celsius Ideally, this value should be low.
Battery_replace Whether the UPS batteries need replacing   This measure reports either Battery is Fine or Battery Needs to be Replaced while indicating whether the UPS batteries need to be replaced.

The numeric values that correspond to the above-mentioned states are as follows:

Note:

By default, this measure reports the above-mentioned states while indicating whether the UPS batteries need to be replaced. However, the graph of this measure will be represented using the corresponding numeric equivalents of the states as mentioned in the table above.
