Measures reported by ChstyCPUStTest
This test auto-discovers the CPU slots on the target Cohesity backup storage system and for each CPU slot, reports the current status, speed and total number of CPU cores. Using this test, administrators can identify the CPUs that are disabled and take remedial measures before users start complaining.
Outputs of the test : One set of results for each CPU slot on the target storage system being monitored.
The measures made by this test are as follows:
| Measurement |
Description |
Measurement Unit |
Interpretation |
| State |
Indicates the current status of the CPU in this slot. |
|
The values reported by this measure and its numeric equivalents are mentioned in the table below:
| Measure Value |
Numeric Value |
| Disabled |
0 |
| Enable |
1 |
Note:
By default, this measure reports the above-mentioned Measure Values displayed in the table above to indicate the current status of each CPU. In the graph of this measure however, the same is represented using the numeric equivalents only. |
| CPU_speed |
Indicates the number of cycles this CPU executes per second. |
MHz |
CPU speed is a good indicator of the processor's performance. Thus, the value of this measure should not be low. |
| Core_count |
Indicates the total number of CPU cores in this slot. |
