Measures reported by CouchDBHttpResTest

The backup and sync operations performed by the target server should be seamless and fast enough to ensure peak performance. If any slowdown is detected due to server/web site unavailability and slow responses from the web site, then the data integrity will become questionable. This will adversely impact the user productivity and experience. Using this test, administrators can continuously track the availability and responsiveness of the server so as to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Outputs of the test : One set of results for the target Apache CouchDB Server.

The measures made by this test are as follows:

Measurement Description Measurement Unit Interpretation
httpResponse200Rate Indicates the rate of satisfactory responses on the server. Responses/second A very high value is required for this measure.
httpResponse201Rate Indicates the rate of created responses on the server. Responses/second
httpResponse202Rate Indicates the rate of accepted responses on the server. Responses/second A very high value is required for this measure.
httpResponse204Rate Indicates the rate of content-less responses on the server. Responses/second Ideally, the value of this measure should be zero.
httpResponse206Rate Indicates the rate of partial content responses on the server. Responses/second
