Measures reported by TermLicGraceTest Microsoft RDS server enables users to access desktops and applications from various types of client applications and devices. To provide continuous access to desktops/applications to users, the target RDS server should possess a valid license offered from a Microsoft RDS License server. By default, Microsoft offers grace period license for 120- days during which the RDS server can offer desktops/applications to users without the license server. However, if you do not get a valid license before the grace period expires, the RDS server will not be able to offer services to users after the given period. To avoid such inconveniences, you should monitor the RDS server during license grace period and initiate actions to get valid license before the grace period expires. This can be easily done using the TermLicGraceTest. This test monitors the target RDS server that uses grace period license, and reports the number of days left in the license grace period. This way, administrators are proactively alerted to buy valid licenses before the grace period ends so as to ensure the users continuous access to the desktops and applications. In addition, this test also reveals whether/not the RDS server allows new user connections and a single session per user. Note: This test reports metrics only when the target RDS server uses grace period licenses. Outputs of the test : One set of results for the target RDS server being monitored The measures made by this test are as follows:
