Measures reported by CtxCdDiskTest
Adequate disk space should be available in the Cloud Connectors that are connected to the target cloud site to ensure uninterrupted functionality. This test auto-discovers the disks available on the Cloud Connectors, and for each disk, reveals how well the disk space is utilized. This helps you to isolate disks that are running out of free space and those that are experiencing serious processing bottlenecks, so that such disks can be marked for resizing or tuning before a possible performance deterioration occurs.
Outputs of the test : One set of results for every combination of resource location:disk on each cloud connector that is connected to the target cloud site.
The measures made by this test are as follows:
| Measurement |
Description |
Measurement Unit |
Interpretation |
| Total_space |
Indicates the total capacity of this disk. |
GB |
|
| Used_space |
Indicates the amount of space that is already utilized in this disk. |
GB |
Ideally, the value of this measure should be low. If this value grows close to that of the Total_space measure, then you may consider adding more storage space to the disk, or free up the space in the disk by deleting unnecessary data. |
| Free_space |
Indicates the amount of space that is currently available for use in this disk. |
GB |
A high value is desired for this measure. A sharp/consistent decrease in the value of this measure is an indication for you to add more free space to the disk before the disk runs out of free space. |
| Disk_usage |
Indicates the percentage of space that is utilized in this disk. |
Percent |
A value close to 100% indicates that the disk is currently running out of space. |
