Measures reported by CisSDWDevDetailTest

For a Cisco-SD WAN appliance to work without a glitch, the four primary components of the Cisco SD-WAN namely, vSmart Controller, vManage, vEgde Routers and vBond Orchestrator should always be up and reachable. If any of the components are down or are not reachable, then, the Cisco SD-WAN appliance may not function as expected or may malfunction. To maintain top-notch functioning of the Cisco SD-WAN appliance, it is necessary to monitor the status and uptime of each component constituting the Cisco SD-WAN appliance. The Device Status test helps administrators in this regard!

This test auto-discovers the components of the target Cisco SD-WAN appliance and for each component, reports the current status and uptime. Besides, this test also reveals whether/not each component is reachable. Using this test, administrators can figure out those components that are frequently in “Abnormal” state and those that are not reachable.

Outputs of the test : One set of results for each component in the target Cisco SD-WAN being monitored.

The measures made by this test are as follows:

By default, this measure reports the above-mentioned Measure Values listed in the table to indicate whether/not each component is reachable. The graph of this measure however is represented using the numeric equivalents only.

Device_status Indicates the current status of this component.   This measure will be reported only if the value of the Reachability measure is Reachable.
