Measures reported by FastIronPSupplyTest

The sudden failure of the power supply units of the target switch can cause the switch to crash, leading to critical loss. To avoid this, you need to keep an eye on the state of each power supply unit. This can be achieved using the FastIronPSupplyTest test. This test auto-discovers the power supply units of the target switch and reports the current operational state of each power supply unit.

Outputs of the test : One set of results for each power supply unit of the target Brocade FastIron Switch that is to be monitored.

The measures made by this test are as follows:

Operation_status Indicates the current operation state of this power supply unit.   The values reported by this measure and its numeric equivalents are mentioned in the table below:

Note:

By default, this measure reports the Measure Values listed in the table above to indicate the current operation state of each power supply unit. The graph of this measure however, represents the status of a server using the numeric equivalents only-1 to 3.
